I bought this during what would become my cat’s final weeks. I went with this instead of a cat tree because he wasn’t really interested in playing as much. This worked great for him to lounge on top of while I was working, it was the perfect height for him to see out of the bedroom windows too. And of course when he wanted to hide away he had plenty of private space to do that too.The unit is sturdy enough for me to prop my feet on when needed (DO NOT SIT ON THIS). My cat and dog were very close in size at 🤏 just under 20 lbs and it honestly had enough room for the two of them to sleep in at the same time.When not in use you can simply take the bottom out and collapse it down. Store all the ottoman and its bottom inside of the lid and slide it under the couch, under the bed, or easily tuck in the closet.
