When you understand what BAs sound like, it's a dream come true. These headphones reproduce incredible detail in the mids and highs. I hear noises in the music that I haven't heard with other in-ear headphones. Only my high-end over-ear headphones bring out these subtle details. Note, however, that low frequencies (bass) are absent - as if they didn't appear at all. I bought these headphones knowing I wouldn't hear the bass rumble. , but actually there is no impact. If you want crystal clear mids and highs, this is a $150 bargain. But if you want headphones with a balanced sound, then these are for you. A little background. I own or own Sennheiser HD598, HD600 and HD650, Shure SRH1540, Audio-Technica ATH-R70x, Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro, Sennheiser IE800, Cardas EM5813, Grado SR325e, Phillips X2HR and X3, ÆON Flow and over a dozen smaller models. Most of them are the best, or near best, deals on some of the best audio companies in the world. If you know this list, you know my review needs to have some impact.
