It shouldn't be a one-time thing, right?

I bought this pan and received it on 7/1/19. We used it 4 times in total. I haven't cooked anything with bones or anything that might scratch the pan. Didn't touch anything metallic. I only used it on medium heat. The copper plating is now peeling off in the pan. And it's not hard to come off, it seems like you have to scratch it. It comes off when I dry it with a towel. I contacted the manufacturer as this pan has a warranty. Notify them of an apparent shortage after just 4 uses. Days passed and I was told to contact another department. I contacted them about the problem. Days go by and they ask for proof of purchase. Shipped immediately. The next response was for me to take a photo of the serial number on the back of the pot. Sent immediately. The next reply was that they wanted another photo and I should send them money for a replacement. They sent me an invoice and said I had to pay it before they could do anything else. This is not a guarantee. This is a scam. And terrible customer service. My time is valuable and I've spent time and money on a pan with good reviews and great performance. But in my case they were wrong. Now I have a pot that I have to throw away because I don't risk feeding my family with paint chips falling from inside that pot.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish
