Bought because my 2001 GMC Yukon SLE (Autoride) has driven almost 300,000 miles. I replaced the burned shock absorbers with Bilstein 4600. Technically I didn't have to change the springs. Unless you have the ZW7 (Nivomat) suspension package, the stock springs will work just fine. But I figured I'd already be under the truck and they might as well be replaced. In addition, these springs do not require any tools to compress the coils. Just make sure the lower shock bolts are loosened, drop the rear far enough and you can just pull them out and pop in a spare. Feels good!
