My friend recommended this to me after she bleached her hair and her roots turned an unfortunate shade of orange. She said it's the only thing that turns her red hair ashen. My hair tends to look more yellow than I would like, so I tried Platinum Pop. What I liked about it is that it is easy to use and really took care of my hair. It also didn't make it purple or gray or anything. My hair just got lighter and it worked really well. What I didn't like was that it's washable. I didn't know it was a temporary powder. So you have to reapply every time you wash your hair. I mostly apply to the front of my face to brighten things up. This is a great solution when you can't walk into a salon or your hair just can't take any more treatment.
