Review on 🔧 Dorman 68137 License Plate Bracket for Rear Application on Jeep Models by Matt Heringer

Purchased to replace a cracked license plate frame on a 2014 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. As far as I can tell, it's indistinguishable from what I replaced (other than not being broken). After the old one is disconnected, all you have to do is disconnect the wiring harness from the old license plate holder, insert it into the new one and screw it on. However, no mounting screws or metal brackets are supplied. that fit into the holes in the case wall into which the screws are screwed. No problem if you still have the hardware from the old frame and none of these brackets came loose when the old frame was damaged. Mine was missing one of those little brackets and I couldn't find a suitable replacement, but you only need to remove a couple of bolts to remove the taillight assembly and then you can climb behind it and secure it with nuts. and bolts.
