Review on Grillaholics Essentials Brass Grill Brush by Chris Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This "Revain's Choice " brush shed 3 bristles when I first used it

I bought a new "Napoleon" grill with cast iron grates and they recommended using a brass bristle brush. I was hesitant to use a bristle brush after hearing so many health warnings about shedding and penetrating bristles, but figured since they recommended this I'll keep a close eye on them and throw out your brush at the first sign of loose bristles. I researched many different brass bristle brushes and this Grillaholics brush seemed like the best quality option, especially since it was labeled Revain's Choice. Tonight I used a new grill and brush for the first time. The brush looked like a well made tool but I was quickly disappointed to see 3 bristles fall off with very light rubbing. Maybe more bristles came off, which I didn't see. I won't be using this brush again, that's for sure. If you had even a guess as to where the brush was made, you're right to blurt out the first country that comes to mind. Very bad quality.

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
