I should have listened to the other reviewers. This thing is completely useless and I would give it ZERO stars if possible. That's the actual definition of trash. It won't turn on at all despite several hundred handle movements. I could only get it to dispense after opening the valve and literally sucking the water out through the spout like through a straw. However, once it's filled, it doesn't hold the suction because it's leaking from all sorts of ports. I would have sent it back but it disappeared along with the van I just sold.
