the quality is not amazing but cheap. The outfit was smashed into a bag leaving the instrument completely smashed looking like an old Halloween rat costume. The tags are on the outside of the outfit, which is distracting and odd. The size goes long and short. It will definitely work for this purpose. I want it to be as cute as the picture. I would send it back if it wasn't for my daughter's class tomorrow. Edit: After washing, the suit is much softer and no longer creases out of the box, which I think makes a big difference. I used some fabric softener and that seems to have helped. I'm thrilled, the color hasn't faded yet. I still find it wide, but my daughter is very skinny and tiny and it can be difficult to find things that fit her small size. The customer service of this company is very nice.
