I was happy to use dental floss which is more sustainable than most found in most supermarkets and pharmacies. Unfortunately, that's a bit disappointing. The grips are thinner than what I've had under the CVS brand before. Anywhere between 10-25% thinner. This not only makes them difficult to grip, but also makes them more brittle and bend too easily. Also, the floss itself seems to stretch a bit more than the mentioned CVS flosses. The combination of these two problems makes them much more difficult to use than CVS choices. So much so that it's as easy to use as regular dental floss. Finally, the bamboo charcoal flavors are said to taste like charcoal and mint, but after using a few I didn't notice any particular flavor. Can't comment on biodegradability but I really hope they are as advertised. .If they made them a little thicker, the handles 50-100% less brittle and the thread a little stronger, they would be a lot better. As they are now, I will most likely not buy them again.
