I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived. They are packed in a beautiful blue box, perfect as a gift. I got this for my daughter. She has very thick hair that reaches the middle of her back. She has a hard time finding clips large enough to fit all of her hair without being heavy or very bulky. She also has issues with the clips being strong enough to last a very long time. Well she has been using them for about a month now and has had no problems. She loves the beautiful leopard print on it. It's nice that you have a light color and a dark color so you have one to go with every outfit. They are very well designed and built. The clip itself is made of high quality cellulose acetate with no side cutouts. I'm not exactly sure what material it is made of, but I do know the clip is thick, strong, and very strong. The spring is also very strong and resilient. She loves that the feather is covered so her hair doesn't get caught in it when she takes it off. She is very happy with them and would like to have them in other colors.
