Review on Silver 3MRO401 Reverse Osmosis Filtration System by 3M for Sinks by Blake Burrell

Pros: - The quality of the system (filters and included accessories) is top notch. except for the included faucet - 3M branded and guaranteed - well designed system and space optimized - Revain price for this reverse osmosis filtration system ($470) was HALF of what the plumber/installer quoted meCONs: - installation instructions are very grim ( missing parts, missing part id chart, missing part sizes, limited graphics charts - and they are black and white not color) - The included chrome/plastic faucet is suitable for temporary use but should be replaced with a higher quality device that will accommodate the user's attachment corresponds to washbasin. (purchased separately by buyer/user) - the included adapter (part) was the wrong size (for me). my cold water supply (source) did not fit under the sink. my 3/8". I had to purchase another part (3/8 x 3/8 - 1/4 angle check valve from supplier John Gest) to complete the installation which delayed the project by 1 week. Bottom line: good things Product, good price, bad documentation and therefore hard work - Self install Buy this system if you can hire a plumber to install it or if you have the patience to do the installation process yourself.
