We are fortunate to have several citrus trees in our garden and purchased this juicer as an alternative to traditional reamers. Variety of fruits (lemons, limes, tangerines) and I've even managed to juice a small navel orange with it - Sturdy construction, withstands repeated use of tougher fruit - Much less mess and splatter than an expander - Much less risk of contaminating juice with bitters marrow extract. Cons: - Handle hinges and joints can be difficult to clean - Requires a little more force than a reamer, may not be suitable for arthritic hands - Slightly less effective than a reamer. I am very satisfied with this juicer and can recommend it.
