All I can say is don't hesitate to buy them! You are wonderful. There are a few things I really like about them and one of them is that they are made of glass. I just got rid of a set that only had sliders to turn the knob and the body was clear acrylic. However, the salt shaker always looked cloudy because the salt scratched the inside of the salt shaker and there was nothing you could do about it. Although they are made of glass, they are not heavy and are uncomfortable to hold. I love how you just flip it and grind it by itself! I have arthritis and sometimes my hands just don't want to turn, so this option worked for me. And they are very beautiful! One of my favorite purchases I've made lately. I am the queen of kitchen gadgets!
