My impressions of these brushes are very different from others. The packaging is amazing in every way. They are beautifully packaged and make a wonderful presentation. The included pouch makes it easy to hold your brushes. The brushes themselves have an awful smell and I can literally tell by the smell that they were made by an animal! Her bristles are very soft to the touch and I was looking forward to trying them out. I used the foundation brush first, on the very first pass with the brush a few hairs came out of the foundation brush and stuck to my face and the makeup I was trying to apply. When I looked at the comb, I still saw a few partially fallen out hairs. I cleaned my face and brush and tried again. The same thing happened again! Every time I tried to use the brush it would splatter on my face. I've tried several other eyeshadow brushes and the same thing happened with these brushes! I highly recommend these brushes! Maybe I got a bad kit? Two stars are for the box presentation only.
