Product sounded good and looked good in the picture. But a real electrical wire is wrapped in a woven material that looks like cloth. When you hold the cable by one end, the cable just hangs like a series of double-Us because it's so stiff it retains the folds it was compressed into during transit. This is NOT the very flexible soft rubber cord you may be used to. Since it's also much thicker than regular cable, it's difficult to work with. It works well in both CHARGE role and DATA TRANSFER role.
