Slightly larger than expected, outside the size chart. I ordered a size smaller than advertised given my waist size and it still ended up a little baggy in the stomach and also a little long in the sleeves, but I'm a small, skinny guy so that might only be an issue with the smaller ones sizes. The jacket itself is of excellent quality, there isn't a single loose seam and all the zips have worked flawlessly since I received it. I cannot speak for the balaclava as it was removed immediately and will most likely never be installed again. The armor is very light, I actually replaced it with the armor in my (MUCH more expensive) winter jacket. But for the price it couldn't be better. The piping of the silver jacket reflects the light well and is clearly visible even in daylight. I might buy another smaller jacket for my girlfriend (or myself if I can fit in her). It's really a lot for what you pay. I wear it in the Arizona desert and it's as cool as any jacket I've worn here. I mean it's ok as long as you move and it's freaking hot when you stop, but that's also my experience with a basic t-shirt.
