My brother passed away a few years ago. He was proud of his record collection. Another family member (let's call him gAHg) left his notes in an uninsulated garage in Florida for a few years. With the albums safe, I decided to buy a record player and rekindle my brother's pride and joy. turntable area and quickly realized that I needed to clean the records before I could play them without damaging the stylus. So I searched online and bought this record cleaning kit without knowing anything about the process. It has everything you need to keep your vinyl clean. This kit is great for the basics and I highly recommend it for easy cleaning and removing surface dust and fingerprints. However, I have some records that have not been used in years and require a much more thorough cleaning than this set can provide. The kit is not to blame. I'm a beginner and now I want to learn more about how to thoroughly clean vinyl records. While this set might not be my answer to deep cleaning, I still highly recommend this set for keeping LP records in tip-top shape as it has everything you need in one box.
