Review on In The Breeze 2973 Rainbow Wind Spinner by Dustin Miller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

At $25 very hard to beat but doesn't compare to more expensive branded kites

I fly stunt kites fairly regularly and gave this one a try as it was cheap and had good reviews. not the best kite but for the price you probably won't find anything better. The lines that come with it are pretty cheap and one of them started to wear out after less than an hour of flight. However, a good set of Dyneema or Specter lines will usually cost more than the entire kite. This kite performs well in 10mph winds and gets better as the wind picks up. It's very easy to fly, although not very responsive or fast for a kite of this size. You can control it, but restarts are difficult without a wizard. I directly compared flying this kite to flying my HQ Symphony 1.8m the same day and without exaggeration the HQ flies about 10 times better. But it also costs more than triple the price of a slightly smaller kite. This kite is good for kids or as a first trick kite. If you're already flying kites, spend the extra bucks on a better one.
