Not much different than the previous 800 series as far as I can tell. The range isn't bad. Surprisingly good to play with. My only real complaint is that the half-height function keys are a bit annoying, especially if you use them regularly for gaming they can really get confusing. Otherwise, the price is definitely right and the battery life is quite long. The lag is negligible, I found playing FPS was actually pretty good, at least in single player mode. I can't comment on lag as a professional player, I use guys who would find it unbearable, but that's not the intended audience for this keyboard. For those looking for a good wireless keyboard and mouse combo for everyday use on a PC that doesn't require constant secretary use or heavy pro-level gaming, this is an excellent keyboard and mouse combo at a great price . Price.
