Review on 💾 Samsung 960 EVO Series 250GB PCIe NVMe M.2 Internal SSD (MZ-V6E250BW) - Boost Your SEO by Paul Dahl

This is a review of the Samsung 960 EVO 250GB M.2 SSD. A few bucks saved but it's a BEAST! I'm using this with a Lycom DT-120 M.2 PCIe to PCIe 3.0 x4 adapter (M.2 PCIe 2280, 2260, 2242 support) which was very cheap. I did a lot of research and this card was my answer when I was looking for a way to add an Evo 960 SSD to my computer in a way that would actually allow the SSD to run at full speed. As long as your motherboard supports PCI Express boot or has a full-speed M2 slot, you're good to go. little time. Here's a short list of everything I had to do. Keep in mind that I expected problems, boot problems, BIOS settings and a possible Windows 10 restart, but it didn't happen. The total exchange time is less than 30 minutes. Replacement procedure Install the SSD on the new Lycom card. (Just slides into the slot and tightens with the screw provided.) Install the Lycom card into an available PCI Express x 16 lane in your PC. (You can use the available PCI Express x4, x8, or x16 slot. Of course, not all pins are used.) Run the Samsung Data Migration software (free via Google) to migrate my current EVO 850 to a new drive to clone. (It literally only took 20 minutes.) Then, when the cloning was complete, I shut down, pulled out the old SSD, and rebooted. My computer booted up immediately. I expected Windows 10 to cause activation issues and whatnot, but nothing. It's really plug and play and so far reliable. I even did a speed benchmark and hit top speeds! (Slightly lower, but this may be due to different hardware on my computer.) From the maximum actual read speeds of 3200MB/s and write speeds of 1900MB/s, I was able to read 2993MB/s and get 1348MB/s. write n. .SSD at a very good price and works great. Highly recommended. I wish all the computer hardware I bought installed so smoothly.
