These micro spikes are terrible. The first time I used them, even though they fit perfectly in my boot, all the cleats on both feet fell out. I put them on and started up the mountainside for about an hour. As I sat down for a break, I noticed that about half the spikes were missing on both legs. I decided to follow the snowy ice trail. Soon all spikes disappeared and there was a big fall. I was lucky not to injure myself. At the end of the hike one of the two handles fell off and I was down to one handle and it was completely spineless. It might be fine for a granny commuting from her car to the front door, but for anything resembling a walk or hike in nature, this product is useless.
