If you're trying to make floating candles and have a problem, you probably won't turn them on when you're trying to make them. YOU MUST HAVE THESE FOR FLOATING CANDLES. Tap water contains many chemicals and they will not work properly. You can buy a pitcher of distilled water at the grocery store for 0.99 cents or less. For example, they will soak from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m., in about 12 hours they will have reached their full size. What you don't use, put it in a zippered storage bag. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
