Review on 🚿 Moen 21007 Vitalize: Elevate Your Shower Experience with Immersion Rainshower Technology by Jackie Harbour

I liked that it's relatively water efficient (2.5 GPM) but provides enough water for a shower without the stinging feeling I often get from many other water saving heads. My water pressure is probably "normal/medium" (ie no one ever said it was low). The fitting that screws onto the showerhead is metal (stainless steel?), while the rest is plastic with soft (rubber? vinyl?) nozzle tips. These soft heads are great for hard water areas like mine: when they start to clog, simply rub them to remove the buildup and your shower head will be working like new again! The chrome finish is nice and until you touch it it looks like chromed metal. NOTE: If installing this with an (optional) adjustable extension, you can purchase additional washers or use more teflon tape for a better seal. This deep-threaded showerhead fitting seems primarily intended to fit directly onto the long threaded portion of the bracket that comes out of the shower screen. I wanted a more vertical installation, so I added a UA902-PK 10-inch Delta faucet with adjustable shower. The shower holder fitting has a relatively short threaded section, so the shower head has to be unscrewed quite a bit to get a good disc seal. (And the harder you screw it in, the more likely it is to hit the extension, depending on how it's positioned.) This showerhead comes with enough Teflon tape to install it AND the Delta Faucet UA902 Adjustable Showerhead - PK with more left.
