I gave 5 stars. BUT stainless steel is highly magnetic. Therefore, this is a bad strain, season this item like a cast iron skillet. Yes. I had to use a solvent to remove the sticky gum. It's very thin metal. Transfers heat quickly. I'm on a boat, meals cook a lot faster if they stay warm. I like this cover very much. You can easily use it upside down in the oven. , Pretty useful thing. Use your head and oven mitts!
