, I have had long hair for most of my adult life and for most of my life I have wrapped my head in a regular sized bath towel. After the shower, I went about my after-shower business with my head wrapped in a towel. These towels fell off more than every time I moved my head a little, and sometimes they just slid down and disappeared. A few years ago I started using a turban-style towel that fastens to itself with a loop or button. They changed the rules of the game. I was able to dress and get ready for my day without losing my towel. I needed some new towels so I decided to try these. They are fluffy, soft and absorbent (I don't use fabric softener on towels to keep them absorbent). Not only did they remain soft and absorbent after washing, but they also stayed fluffy. They didn't shrink or pill in the wash. The edges are well finished so they don't curl. My hair is just below my shoulders and it all fits into a turban. I have a pretty big head too, and these turbans sit on it without bunching up. Button closures are secure; I'm not worried about them falling off. Because these towels are so soft, they don't tug on my slightly wavy hair. I think they would be good for someone with curly hair. I found them inexpensive. If you still wrap your hair in a bath towel, I recommend you try these turban towels.
