I was disappointed to find the handle had ripped through the box and the chains had torn a large hole in the fresh new 'OTC' sticker which must have happened during shipping. Except for the threaded rod, which looks like a grade 5 material (I could be wrong) with a cheap zinc coating, everything else looked impressive. It actually had ball rings on the end of each shaft ring and all the pins were perfectly centered. The roller at the bottom of the beam has no berms, which can be a good thing considering the guy said he used it to lift a 1200-pound 59 Cummins. All wear surfaces were liberally coated with silicon grease and the welds looked well maintained. Overall impressed with the Chinese manufacturing process, I would pay more for quality ARP tool steel screw threads.
