Review on 6-Foot Green Artificial Slim Christmas Tree by National Tree Company - North Valley Spruce, Includes Stand by Laura Thomas

I bought this tree because we needed a tree with a thin but tall profile to fit our new apartment. This is the PERFECT size for our home! I bought a 7.5ft tree which is a bit misleading as the top 6-9 inches is a thin/not strong 'branch'. Otherwise, the dimensions are correct: Technically, it is 7.5 feet and 32 inches in diameter. I particularly liked the slim profile because it allowed us to place our "cage" around a tree, with enough room to keep it out of our cat's reach, and for the first time it couldn't go far enough enough to do this. no real damage to the jewelry! Assembly was easy - it comes in 3 parts with all the branches already attached (they stack). The stand is strong enough (but could be stronger) to support the entire weight of the jewelry plus our curious cat. The tree was very easy to adjust to make it perfectly straight. There are many tips that gave me everything I needed for the scenery, but the green thread-like material wrapped around the wire branches was already unraveling on some, and on a few others the glue ran noticeably (it came off easily ab ), and we found 2 tips with no needles - just bare wire so be careful with the fluff. Also keep in mind that this tree needs a LOT of fluffing up after unpacking. It will NOT look good if you just take it out of the box and put it together - it will look very sparse and flimsy. I saw a lot of negative reviews about it so I was a bit worried. But one day we took the time to fluff it up properly - as you always do with any artificial tree, to make it look more real! - it looked very nice, if still a bit sparse/thin. Luckily I love a tree FULL of decorations so it looked really nice when it was finished. I was VERY happy with the result and look forward to having it as our tree for at least the next few years while we live in this house! It has many tips that allowed me to put on all the jewelry I wanted and the branches on the bottom two sections were very strong to support my heaviest jewelry. Just for the record, this year I hung 800 lights, 50+ feet of beads, 80+ feet of ribbon on this tree and gave up counting about 450 ornaments/decorations. If you're the type of person who doesn't put a lot of lights, ornaments, and embellishments on your tree, it can still look a little flimsy, but it really depends on how much you fluff it up and what you want it to look like! I am very happy with this purchase and look forward to decorating this tree for years to come!
