Review on ๐ŸŽฎ HORI Nintendo Switch Real Arcade Pro - Street Fighter Chun-Li Edition: Official Nintendo & Capcom Licensed by Charles Galan

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall Good stick

Am mostly happy with it. The shaft is a bit short in my opinion and my hand barely gets past my ring finger when my hand is in the handshake position, and square gates require some fine tuning for those more familiar with octagonal and round gates. To my knowledge it should last about 90 days from date of purchase with Hori's warranty. I'll probably consider post-warranty mods, but I recommend anyone who buys one of the Real Arcade Pro range sticks to try it out a bit and see how you feel before considering a mod. It works great on the switch. . However, on PC you may need to remap some inputs because Y on this controller reads the same as Y on an Xbox controller, although on Xbox it's where X is and the same goes for A and B. Other than those Bits stick and buttons can be a bit noisy. This isn't a big issue for me, but I know some people who prefer less noise. The buttons feel good. They don't need a lot of force to press and they don't have a lot of travel. I accidentally pressed them without realizing it because they are so light. Something that takes some getting used to if, like me, you're the kind of person who puts their fingers on buttons. I'd rate it a solid four. Pros: Sturdy construction, comfortable, good grip, nice design, responsive handling Cons: Short shaft, noisy, square gate, buttons feel light. If you want a good mid-range arcade/fightstick then Hori's Real Arcade Pro series is a good choice.
