I bought this because I thought it was cute and I needed an avocado sweater for my dog. (Who isn't?). He weighs 5.4 pounds - a cross between a Chihuahua and a Maltese. I was nervous at first because I thought the sleeves would get in the way. He wears this and doesn't seem to mind at all - in fact, since he has so little fur, it helps him stay warm. It is worth noting that this is actually a very warm sweater. This is also confirmed - he wore it to the dog daycare a few times and it looked like new again. I have also machine washed it and it comes out fine. I would highly recommend this avocado sweater for your dog. Just make sure you get the right size - mine was small. I would give six stars but they don't have the right one for me. A day.
