
Okay, it's kind of tricky to set up, but once you get the hang of it you should be spot on. 1) Install SDK and Runtimes 2) Connect in the following order: DC power, USB to computer, Kinect** If you get a disconnect error, make sure the Kinect is connected to its own dedicated USB controller (disconnect everything else, this sucker needs a lot of bandwidth). I had to figure out most of this from the internet, but it works if you know how to use it. Regarding USB bandwidth, this is a known Microsoft issue.
