Review on 🖨️ Removable Carborundum Platform Printers - 220x220x250mm by Mike Goodwin

When I first bought this printer, I had many problems with it - overheating, some files didn't print at all, constant freezing. I kept in touch with customer service and they were very unhelpful. I initially wrote a very negative review about my experience and the Revain seller reached out to me to help. They sent me a brand new printer as my first one was a total failure. The new printer works perfectly! I had no issues with heat creep, file crashes, or freezing. This seller was very friendly and very helpful. 2 week update: I use the new printer almost constantly and every print comes out beautifully. Pros: - Prints look very clean. Pressure lines are almost invisible. The filament that comes with the printer is very pretty and more than enough to print any test files stored on the SD card. tool box, adjustment knob, hook) - The printer includes all the tools needed to assemble it and repair it if necessary - The packaging is very safe! All parts of the printer are pretty soft and everything is marked. Cons: The assembly instructions can be quite confusing. I had to search for videos on how to put all this together the first time I assembled it (at the time the only one I could find was in French) - while the Cura profile, software and installation instructions are in the SD cards were included there was nowhere in the manual to explain they were there so I didn't actually see them until support pointed them out to me. It's a little tricky if you're new to 3D printing like me. I had to learn a lot about leveling the bed and sizing everything (before that I only used self-leveling printers). Customer service is slow to respond and never gives complete information. For example, they sent me files or directed me to do something, but didn't fully explain what to do with the file or how to access specific machine components. The included SD card is quite cheap. It works fine, but I still recommend buying another one. There is not much information about this car on the internet. A few YouTubers have popped up to take advantage of this and a subreddit has been created to help people out, but beyond that it can be difficult to solve problems just by Googling. While I'm still a bit cautious with this new printer, my first experience so far has been good (I'll let you know if anything goes wrong or everything goes smoothly). For that reason alone, and the lack of helpful customer service, I'm sticking with 4/5 stars. I would recommend this printer to beginners with the caveat that there can be a learning curve (which is not the fault of the printer itself). also a stick. If you take 70% isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth and rub over it 4-5 times things will hold up a lot better. You'll see that some of the yellow residue has been removed, and once you've cleaned it and it no longer looks foggy, you'll know you've succeeded.
