Please note that these clear cases have an edge that I am familiar with. What I consider "not planar" is that the screw mounting holes are raised internally and thus leave clearance internally when mounting to the plate mount and add unnecessary overall thickness in the plate area. I ended up picking the ones from the Autostuff vendor that were totally flat (like plexiglass with 4 holes drilled in them).
