They are smaller than I expected. I bought these because my kitty loves to play with pom pom balls and I lost the big one she had so I was trying to replace it. They're no bigger than a quarter. My kitten is still small and may have only gained 3-4 pounds (about 5 months old). I'm nervous about choking, but she just seems to enjoy hitting the ball. I see her put them in her mouth and carry them to the playground she needs, but I don't think she's biting them. I'm opening the package today and will update this review if anything else comes up but for the price and quantity this is a good investment in a cat toy, just wish
