This easily holds and protects the Nikon camera and multiple accessories we bought it to transport. It's like a pro photographer's bag. We used it on a plane fight to India and the camera remained undamaged in four different overhead compartments. Because the bag is so large, it's not really good for walking around using the camera casually, as it sort of screams "tourist with expensive camera". Best therefore to use the bag in places where there are a lot of people with good cameras, such as the botanical gardens we frequent.
