This product works better than I expected. First I sanded the whole boat with 2000 grit sandpaper. Then I started cutting 3M thick. After that I used 3M polish. It worked well. In some places I had to use multiple passes to get the same shine. This was due to heavy oxidation as the wax had never been applied in 25 years. Take your time with heavy cutting and wet sanding and polishing will be like clockwork! I even tried 3 different synthetic and ceramic waxes and none of them even came close. The difference between day and night!
