My Sun Conure loves this food (except for the little orange balls which he often doesn't touch). I can't say anything about the taste except 4 stars because of the orange ball. He won't eat his "green soybeans" at all after switching to the Zupreem Medium Large Fruit Mix diet, so it should compare to the tried and true pellet diet our grandparents fed their pet birds, be pretty tasty. . The red boomerang-shaped pieces are especially fun for my bird when he wants attention - he flies quite a distance with them too, and yes, he eats red ones when he's not throwing a tantrum. Based on my experience I can only recommend this food.
