The Berkey Stand was the perfect size and height and made things that much easier. The height of the stand gave me the ability to place a glass, mug, and even a teapot on the stovetop under the faucet. Before I got the stand, the Berkey was over the sink countertop and the spout was over the sink. The containers had to be filled from the top half of the sink. The kettle didn't fit in the sink so I had to maneuver to pour water straight into the kettle. I didn't want the two step process to introduce water into the kettle. And now just one step and very convenient to use with the height of Berkey stand.
