I bought this aftermarket power supply for the 'new' Dell AS501 soundbar I bought in an auction, but I didn't have this important part (it was time to write a negative review for this one to give to seller). The soundbar model Dell AS501 is over 10 years old but I've had it since 2007-2008 and still use it, it now installs itself under my HP 27es IPS monitor. Thought I'd get another one for my HP 27f monitor which is the 27's twin. This power supply completes the picture. Also, MADE IN TAIWAN is a nice bonus (compared to anything made in China).
