Not sure if this would work. It took some time and some catnip to get a post-traumatic cat to use it. She stuck her head in, but at first she didn't realize it was safe. I then placed these in the slightly hidden spots where she would sleep. This became her hideout after something outside provoked her, she would go inside, return to where Meowfia is hiding and disappear for about an hour before she was ready to be with anyone. For them, this is a warm, cozy and safe place. She was abandoned, lost with 5 kittens (lost in the wild) before being abducted/neutered/released and in short, accidentally abducted into our home when we gained her trust. This is a safe place for deep sleep.
