The star of this set is definitely the scissors. They are very sharp, cut cleanly and are particularly good at the tip. The finger holes are a bit small and work best for small hands, but can be used if you have large hands. I also like that it comes with a plastic protector to protect the tip from damage when stored in the drawer with other items. However, the protector is small and only covers the tip. It would be nice to have a longer tread that covers the full length of the blade. The comb isn't particularly useful given its size (just under 4 inches long) and the fact that the teeth are quite coarse. It's also quite cheaply made. Not perfect, but good value for a handy pruning tool.
