My real rating is 4.5 stars. It fits my 2016 Ford C-Max perfectly. However, either a larger hook clip or longer cord must be included. Not the manufacturer's fault, but the C-Max doesn't have a way to attach a hook and I could only find a bracket to the left of the door. So there must still be something to attach the front. I assume the base of Ford Escape and Fusion should be the same. Then the Ford seats don't split in the back because they wrap the material around the entire seat back. But I just put in big round discs and turned them. So they stay in place. I'd like to see a thicker cushion as the base C-Max seats are hard to sit on. To my surprise, the heated seats actually heat up through this pad, which is great since hybrids don't emit much heat through the vents. The front pocket seems useless to me but I totally understand the design and it protects the front of the seat which is a good thing. So give us another strap or hook for problem cars and that brings me to five stars. The pillow had no unpleasant odors and does not need to be broken in. It is great!
