Plastic bristles. Nothing for thick hair.

I've had the same brush since 2002 and have tried making changes (but it's not the same). Claims to be a great "bamboo" brush but the bristles are plastic which defeats the purpose of the bamboo brush. I gave 2 stars because they are beautiful. I have medium hair and the bristles are not long enough. This is only for those with fine hair. This will not work on thick or very thick hair.
