Purchased this item to use on hot days when I needed to keep the insulin pen cool. Nice, compact size and having 2 ice packs makes it easy to have a fresh one ready to go!On hot days (88+ degrees), I would estimate that the ice pack lasts about 3-4 hours. Sometimes the outside of the pack gets damp from the ice pack (so avoid placing it on paper s or books), but the insulin pen has always remained great!
