Sometimes my wife watches TV in bed. While I'm trying to sleep, it's the other way around. We had to solve this problem. I bought this device and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it works. It immediately connected to the Bluetooth headphones. One important thing to remember is that the RED indicator must be lit for it to function as a transmitter. If the BLUE indicator is on, unplug and then plug back in until the RED LED is on. Flashing red means it is paired. Solid red means it's paired with headphones (or whatever you can use as a receiver).
