I've been using this humidifier every night for about a week now and it works great! It's quiet when you turn it on and there's definitely a buzz, nothing that doesn't quickly fade into the background. The only real noise complaint I can make is that it sometimes makes a small gurgling noise when the tank is full, but it's far from loud. My apartment gets incredibly dry and this is definitely a big help. I'm hoping to get a hygrometer soon so I can actually measure how well it works (I'll try to update this review when I do). I contend it's a bit optimistic, but it lasts long enough and hydrates more than enough for my needs. The auto-stop function also works very reliably. I poured water from the tap until I didn't notice white dust on anything, probably the water in my apartment is softer than I thought. It seems like it should be fairly easy to clean, but I haven't noticed any mineral deposits yet. I try to flush the tank quickly before refilling it. Overall, it definitely looks like a pretty solid product.
