Updated 5/12/21. I bought two of these, but in my 2001 PT Cruiser, the other person on the phone hears cut off and missing letters in words. Can't believe it has anything to do with the stand as it works great with my other machine. I suspect interference from some type of electronics in this machine and wanted to know if anyone had a similar experience. The radio cannot be switched on. Original post: Excellent solid construction. Chrome plated steel screws at the base where it matters most unlike others I've tried. Rotating handle made of durable plastic with steel screws. It barely fits my 2098 Chevy Equinox LTZ as it sits very close to the top of the shift knob but doesn't get in the way because it's park only. Very happy with the tight fit in the CD slot.
