I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about as I thought this was a well made intake and exhaust fan for my RV. Electric couldn't be easier to set up. The remote control works accordingly and is a nice addition for use in bed. The lid can open and close automatically. The automatic closing function of the wet protection closes the lid when it starts raining outside. The fan continues to run as long as the lid is closed. Most of the other fans shut down leaving the air stale. The fan is not only suction and exhaust, but also has 4 speeds. Most other fans only have 3 speeds. The magnetic mesh is great for keeping bugs out as my wife is allergic to mosquitoes. Overall good buy.
