Creativity plays a big role in all areas of my life. Whether I'm doing laundry, stocking the fridge and pantry, analyzing conversations, or tidying up my closet, my creativity is in full swing. First and foremost, making art is when I embrace my creativity with the utmost passion and joy. Unfortunately, forget it when it comes to freehand drawing. The shaky hands I'm blessed with make everything I draw by hand. Imagine an earthquake with your hands. This is what my straight lines look like, and curved lines are even worse. The Contour Profile Gauge is a tool I've recently added to my art supplies. . Saying it out loud for the first time is my newest obsession! I've used it to capture the shape, outline, and design of everything in and around my home. from obvious beveled corners to completely random corners like piles of unevenly stacked books. I've also used the Contour Profile Gauge tool on objects like vases, rocks and pebbles, high heels, kitchen utensils, and makeup brush handles. It takes a little getting used to, but watching tutorial videos from a quick google search helped a lot. The locking mechanism is a definite plus, especially for the variety in which I've used it. My biggest problem is always remembering to position the tool where I can easily reach the lock. The Contour Gauge Profile Tool fills my sketchbook with countless lines, curves, and angles that my shaky hands have always prevented me from drawing. This tool solved the creative block and made my artistic possibilities limitless!
