Can't say enough good things about Shark Bite fittings and valves! I had a small plumbing project that would have taken me hours to complete the "old fashioned" way and Shark Bite got me done in minutes. literally! I haven't noticed any leaks at all, and installing Shark Bites is so easy even a child can handle it. Yes, they cost more than traditional plumbing parts, but the time savings are worth it. Based on the research I have done, I am confident that the Shark Bite products I use will outlive me. I will no longer do old fashioned plumbing while it is available. Try a few and you will most likely agree that there is no other way to do home plumbing.
